Core community indicators are used to measure our community’s progress toward our identified priorities. These indicators represent the collective progress of all community stakeholders, and while municipal staff do not have exclusive control or responsibility for them, the municipality is a key contributor toward these outcomes. These indicators provide meaningful targets to define the RMOW’s aspirations and inform our actions.

Community character and mountain culture is an important part of Whistler’s success and the RMOW seeks to ensure that its municipal services are both protecting and enhancing these attributes. By measuring satisfaction with village atmosphere for both visitors and residents, and the satisfaction with village services, we are able to ensure that we are providing the services required to protect Whistler’s character and culture through the animation in place throughout the village.
