Over 40% of respondents have reported that reported that they have been spending over 30% of gross income on housing since 2015, with the number rising to 45% in 2022. Those spending more than 40% of income on housing held consistent at 27%, but represented the third year of increases, returning to the same level as the 2018 peak.

Monitored so the community can work towards reducing the number of residents in LIM bracket decrease over time.

What this measures

Proportion of Community Life Survey respondents reporting that 30% or 40% or more of their gross income is spend on shelter costs.
