Why we monitor this
Annual average daily traffic on Highway 99 reflects traffic demand and also is a proxy for the potential pollution impacts from transportation to and around Whistler. Pollution impacts might include, air quality, contribution to climate change or noise pollution.
What this measures
This indicator measures the annual average daily two way traffic on Highway 99 just south of the Blueberry Hill neighbourhood entrance.
